| Danielle -posted 3/13/03 My name is Danielle. I came to Comprehensive Counseling just about two years ago. I needed help due to severe depression, suicidal tendencies and dealing with borderline personality disorder. Just moving to Middletown from a divorce and remarriage, I looked in the phone book to see who I could turn to for help. Comprehensive Counseling and the therapist I found there has given me the help I needed. I had not dealt with past sexual abuse, divorce and raising five children, all of whom have some form of mental illness. Through therapy, I have been able to overcome to a large degree my depression and my borderline tendencies. I have utilized many programs I was put in touch with and these have, along with regular therapy, given me the courage to heal to the point of living on my own, getting a job, and going back to school to get a college certificate for Medical Assistant. I've also gotten most of my children into therapy and on medication. So as far as I'm concerned you can quote me on this, "Comprehensive Counseling is and can be, if utilized, the answer to the prayers of anyone needing that help and extra care." |
